I think the main difference lies in the thought processes of the collectors.

My sister has… oh, I dunno…. 6 or 7 tattoos. You know the deal.. go to Barcelona, get rosaries. Go for a night out with the girls, get some stars…. that kinda thing.

I put a lot of thought Into my first tattoo, it had to have meaning and be anatomically correct. Now I just get images that I like, without a particular deep meaning. Classic tattoos are my favourites and you lose some of that with an overly custom design.

That’s why I like instagram and I’ve never even been to the twitter website. Most of the stuff on social networking sites is rubbish and not worth losing brain cells by reading. Rather read a good book or watch a movie if I’m going to stare at a screen.

Don’t tattoo your nipples man…that’s just not right….

I want a music related tattoo. I’m just really undecided on what to put in it, and which style to choose for it. That might end up being my only traditional / neo-traditional tattoo.
