Hah, the best part is that we’re (my company) actually working with US companies in creating geothermal plants in some valley or other. If it takes off, we might be helping them supply a large percentage of the country with proper renewable energy within a few years.

That’s awesome! If only they didn’t eat really cute birds over there (puffins). We do eat kangaroos but they’re not as cute.

I got to watch my 2 year old daughter open her shitload of presents, and today is her birthday (it’s Boxing Day here now) so we’ll be doing it all over again.

As for myself, just a pair of socks and chocolate (don’t really eat chocolate). Our families have a no presents for adults rule but someone always breaks it.

Had a very “practical” haul this year. A bunch of clothes, shoes and a chef’s knife, and my mom made my siblings and I CDs with scanned pictures of ourselves since we were toddlers 🙂
