I know what you mean about Dan, I absolutely love his work but have no idea for something for me that would suit his style. I’ll probably buy one of his sketches for the front room though 🙂

Believe it or not, that’s called a skin rip 😀
As above, bio-mech or bio-organic styles work extremely well with skin rips and just happen to be my favourite tattoos although they aren’t particularly popular.
There’s an example in my signature although it’s a lot more specific than just a skin rip example .

Butcher is fantastic, but you have seen Dan Chases work? his B&G is beautiful.
He works from ritual Art tattoo in Rainham, Kent, so not far from you(warning, website is ‘kin annoying but worth the hassle)
