Tough call really.

I personally am a black and shade fan but a phoenix I would lean towards colour because they are such bright and fiery creatures – may look a little muted in just black.

You have to go with what you love best though.

That is some of the best tribal I have seen in ages – the main bit is the solid shading and the fact it flows with your body shape.

Too many times I see it where it has just been slapped on with no thought and seems to be drowning in a sea of skin.

If the weight loss is extreme or very fast you do need to wait until you balance out at your desired weight because the skin can stretch or sag depending on this and that tattoo can be effected by this.

Moderate to slow weight loss or gain does not tend to effect tattoos.
