Hi
It really depends on the underlying cause of the slow healing if you suffer from;
Anemia
Haemophillia
Diabetes
Lupus
Aids
Leukemia
On any auto-immune suppressing drugs
Suffer from photophobia or have kidney or heart problems
Do not get any ink – it simply is not worth the increased infection risk.

Hi Arni
Straight lines are usually done free hand so done very carefully! 😀
You need at least 2 mm space because otherwise it will just blur away to a blob in later years.
I have very rarely seen any guitar strings on tattoos because they are very difficult to keep from blurring.

Hi
White always looks really pale when healing it darkens up when healed.
Otherwise from the size of the tattoo a touchup is a coupl mins job so no big deal.
Looking forward to sharing your ink.Take Care

Hi
To get a scholarship is a damn fine achievement in itself and I am sure that you will make a great artist – lets face it they don’t subsidise ppl who cannot draw.
Also i think what S.Neill was putting across is that no matter the skill you have to be able to take a lot of flak in the industry simply because there is no room for the weak,…[Read more]

Hi
The thing is with any type of technology you will have ppl who want to try new stuff and will experiment with it until it;
1. Is clearly shown to be inferior to what is already available.
2. It is considered to be far too hazardous to use on a mass scale ie several hundred reported accidents, injuries and/or deaths (which have been sued…[Read more]

Hi
If you really want it we cannot stop you but every one of my mates who go tribal between the ages of 14-18 reached 25 and said shit I need that covered.
We are all in our 30’s now and every one of them had that early ink recovered and damn did it cost them.
I waited until I was 26 for my first piece and I have loved tattoos ever since I can…[Read more]

Hi
A bit of white highlighting will draw the eye automatically and will stand out against the black.
You may need to touch it up every 7 years or so on the white but it is a 15 min job and no hardship – white does tend to fade quicker than most pigments.
That said even a light blue edging would be a nice contrast with a little white as well.…[Read more]

Hi
First of all getting that cut off would require a skin graph and they hurt I don’t just mean a bit I mean teeth wrenching pain and you have to walk around with a section of skin that is usually taken from your arse cheek.
I had some skin graphs done on some scars and still ended up lasering over the area because it looked a dogs…[Read more]

replied to the topic Will black ink stay black or go green overtime? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 8 months ago
Hi
The other issue is that some inks contain traces of copper nitrate these were quite a large amount in older inks which gave some of the fading inks that green look.
Most modern pigments now are made from a synthetic base and if of a quality make will last a lot longer than cheaper pigments.
If you click on my sig there is a chapter on what…[Read more]
