If you are 18 or older and plan a rib piece you should be fine as the actual torso growth is negligible.
I would suggest avoiding heavy muscle mass areas such as chest or legs until you are sure that you are happy with the size and won’t want to be bulking up.

The piece would require a min of something thigh size to fit all the detail that you want in – reaslism tattoos requrie a lot of detail and bigger = better.

A backpiece would be even better purely based on canvas size but a thigh would get it all without it looking cramped.

It would make a good tattoo but as suggested the symbols would be better shifted so the form a border around the subject.

Just got back from first 3 hour session of outlining.

I have around another 2 hours to go as still a 1/4 to add (the tiger)

Pain wise – it was pretty painful to be honest.

It was around 5 on the upper back (bearable with odd bit of teeth gritting) and around a 6 on the kidney area at the base of the spine.

I really like the tattoo.

My wife was spending ages looking at it (which I thought odd as she don’t like tattoos – I think it was your six pack she was studying 😉 ).

I was going to get a tattoo that read ‘Life is a game so cheat’ but she banned me from doing so.

To be honest though the design does not leave a lot of room for wording to bed added unless you had it translated it down either side?
