Try some tattoo goo it is all natural and works well on tattoos.

My advise is dress it in a non-stick sterile dressing and if it is only for a day just keep it covered until you are done.

If you get chance take off teh dressing halfway for 15 mins and wash in clean water pat dry and replace.
Do not add any suntan lotion or scented creams to it so early on in the healing process.

Yes KH is right the ink always looks slightly different during the healing process because your skin is healing at different rates.

It tales 2-3 weeks for the colour to really come through and don’t panic if you need a small touch up that is also quite common (especially on larger tattoos).

First of all it looks like a nice star tattoo – well shaped and nice lines.

There are several things you coudl add to it such as;

Flames.
Rainbow through the centre.
Symbol in the middle.
Floral effect.
More stars.

These are just a few. My advice is actually leave it alone. As long as it is a good tattoo you should not worry so much.

I had a good sift through the websites of the artists known to me in Yorkshire and sadly none of them list the types of inks they use.

My advice is to find an artist you like and ask them if use starbrite.

If they do not would they consider getting it in or letting you supply the inks for the tattoo. They are not that expensive also…[Read more]

The dragonfly body and wings will easily adapt to the cardinal symbol being tattooed into it.
A decent artist could put that together for you and make the blue really stand out.

Obviously the dragonfly may look more surreal but I reckon it would make a nice tat.
