There is a way better picture of it on Mike DeVries website, taken in natural light just after it was completed. If you go to his site it is in the MISC INK gallery. Then you can get a way better idea of the color.

Definitely check out Peter’s “Forbes List” to get some names, then start by looking at their work online. Then talk to a couple that you like. The artists will be able to give you an idea of time and cost once because it depends on a lot of factors (size, their rates, etc.).
