The only time that I had unending itchiness (so bad that I slept with an icepack) was because I was not getting the area clean enough so the lotion I used clogged my pores and caused ITCHY red bumps (diaper rash). Patience. Let it heal.

The ink is underneath your skin, so once it is healed you will be looking at the tattoo through those layers of skin. It will never look as bright as the day it was done.
