You can ask your artist to apply numbing creams on the area during the tattooing process. Topical anaesthetics will also help you with the same.

You can obviously scan internet or consult your artist, who could provide ideas suiting your current tattoos best. Some designs specifically symbolising hope include anchor, which were initially etched by sailors, dream catcher, which has a feminine essence, flowers, which people prefer for versatility. A few designs that depict faith or treasure profound spiritual meanings include lotus, triquetra, semicolon, dove, cross, wave, and tree.

I do not want to scare you but as per most artists, a tattoo appears hazy when it is not healing properly. However, according to another popular notion, when a design has nearly recovered, skin’s topmost layers look a bit hazy because they are still forming. Once fully formed, they would look all bright again. Keep moisturising and yet if you are concerned, get your tattoo checked.

No matter how easy it might seem, drawing tattoos without professional assistance is quite difficult, and trigger risks. For fake designs, you can use eyeliner, henna, or marker, all of which can be found in market. If you want to learn about the art seriously, please catch hold of essential supplies namely tattoo gun, needles, ink, towels, rubbing alcohol, bandages, and containers.

Tattoos generally fade when they are exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period or submerged in water. Well, to resolve the said issue, I personally feel you must schedule appointment with your artist again, and get touch-ups or colour rejuvenations. Moisturising with petroleum jelly might also help.

I am planning on getting inked for the first time but excessively nervous about the entire procedure. Well, thanks to the author from very core of my heart as his advice has proven incredibly helpful, boosting my self-confidence to a great extent. Some other suggestions, which my well-wishers provided include taking breaks, cautiously observing sanitary conditions before scheduling appointment, bringing a friend for mental support, etc.
