for the initial tribal part i would go with a black fill and also a bit of red thrown in or even a blue.
as for the writing i would go with purple and green.

first thing you will need to do would be to talk to an artist them selves and find out from personal experience…… even if you go and ask if its alright to hang out there at the shop and get an idea of what the job is like first…… go ask around dude….

how bout a coat of arms. if your family have one then id say get that with the names some how involved.

i like it. but having it in the rib cage area for your first tatt seems pretty brave.
it will most likley hurt so be aware.

i dont see why it couldnt be all done but maybe there are more experienced members who could explain just how much ink the body can take and such other things.
