No worries! 🙂 It seriously took me weeks before I found out what people were calling it so I’m glad I could help out. Yeah, Belly Button is probably at the top of my list, he is pretty amazing. I went on holiday a couple of months ago and was actually in the same place as a tattoo convention that he was at, I am sooooo kicking myself that I didn’t book in with him while I was there.
It does seem to be really, really slow in catching on, but I’m guessing it’s going to be crazy popular soon enough. I don’t know of any specific magazines, sorry :-(, there really is a huge lack of information around. From searching around I can see where there’s been a couple of online articles written, but they are always out of the ordinary, there doesn’t seem to be anything specialising in it. I actually bought the domain name artbruttattoos dot com a few months back with the plan of making a place just where all of this kind of info could be stored but I haven’t done anything with it yet.
Another idea, maybe you could sent a bulk e-mail to a bunch of these artists and ask if they know of anyone in the US who could help?
