Personally I would think hard on it the inks can fade pretty bad (in comparison to ‘normal’ ink).

The neck face and hands are the last taboo areas taht yopu can get inked.

The thing you have to deal with is that it will effect employment if you decide to change jobs and some customers (if own boss) will not get their hair cut by a guy with tatts – especially on the neck.

To be honest there are not that many knee tattoos about – it tends to be teh serious collectors that go for it.
That said I think as a motif tattoo it will look great on the knee and will be a great addition to your other tattoos.

I am partial to the old school styles.

It will tattoo the same as anywhere else with 2 exceptions;

It will hurt more on the kneecap area as close to the bone.

More care needs to be taken on the sides as it is not a flat area so when doing the petals or leaves take this into account when having the ‘dip’ done at the sides of the knee.

Yes it should be quite easy to cover up the tattoo with something like that on the hand tattoo.

You may need to go a little bit bolder on colour to cover the text up but apart from that it is not a difficult one to do.

It depends on how big you want to go – the bigger the better as the writing can blur to a blob if too small.
You could always go for the thigh, ribs, upper arm, mid back or stomach to hip area.

The key thing is deciding what style of font and the size you want to go with it.
