Hi
You know before I saw the pics I was thinking I don’t see many men with dermal anchor chest piercings and thought will be interesting.
Lol my wife slapped me one and said Ashley is a girl’s name and I was like I work with a guy called Ashley! Turns out his has no ‘e’ in it.
😮
Anyhow great collection of ink.

Hi
Have you thought about Unity?
There is loyalty, respect or even blood bond.As you say it is kind of hard – my friend once had ‘one call’ tattooed on his collarbones I asked him why that – he said it was because his friends were only ever one call away.
I would suggest grabbing a thesaurus and seeing what best describes your…[Read more]

Hi
You have what is known as silver skin and is a reaction to the oxide mixing with the ink. It is not harmful as such but you have to make sure that it is well moisturised with a non-scented lotion and whatever you do do not pick at it.
Some ppl with sensitive skin react to this and vitamin e in a similar way.
If you find that it goes…[Read more]

Hi
That is a lot of space you could have something in terms of a warrior angel
You could go for a Judaic/Christian imagery – biblical scene (Cross, crucifiction, scripture pretty endless)
Family or inspiring motto, poetry, lyrics
Family portraits etc
The possibilities are endless you just have to decide what it…[Read more]

Hi
Would make a nice tattoo – personally you might want to go for a chest/pec piece as the cherub is gonna need plenty of room so not to look cramped.
Here is a link for religious inspired tattoos – the fonts may give you some inspiration.

Hi Ben
What ink did he use? It could be there is a heavy concentration of oxide in the mix that has formed within the scar tissue or it could just be tough scar tissue that has formed.
Some patches of my tattoos are like that where they have gone over old scar tissue 9I am covered in them rough youth 😉 ).
As biker has said you can cover it up…[Read more]

Swallows have often represented far travel or freedom – which is why most sailors got them on hands when they had done several thousand miles.
I think they make nice tattoos if done right.
I have to say I am partial to eagles myself.

Hi Keltin
I came from a fairly orthodox Jewish background and I got disowned by some ppl when I got my first tattoo and my family made it clear they hated them.
That said I got my first tattoo at 26 – the reason for this was that everybody I knew who got a tattoo between the ages of 14-19 ended having them covered up. (I wanted tattoos that…[Read more]

Hi Mike
Sorry for your loss – I lost my parents early and understand it is tough when they suffer from such illnesses.
First of all what you are looking to do is not just a sleeve but a very complex piece of artwork and so you have to do the following;
Sizing – you have to make sure that each image is the correct size so not to look too cramped…[Read more]

Hi Dean
Sorry to hear about your issue I have seen the effects of dodgy ink and I am surprised that your studio would be using cheap shite synthetics rather than the tried and trusted ink brands.
The explanation they have given is no excuse they should not have been using them in the first place without first testing the product either on…[Read more]

Hi
I hope you don’t mind if I do some constructive advice on your tattoo.
If you want the best from it you need each and every star relining and reshading by a pro artist.
The concept is great but the linework is not the best (it is quite wobbly) and the shading is patchy.I am not saying this to be mean I just want you to get the best from…[Read more]

Hi Danny
You are starting to worry far too much about the tattoo.
What the artist is saying is that the chest has a large muscle group which means extra care is needed so that the tattoo looks good when you are flexing the muscles.
As long as you don’t go crazy in the gym or wear ultra type shirts you will not rip or tear the tattoo.
Most…[Read more] -

Hi
A thicker outline would def set the tattoo off better (again just a personal choice).
As for the artist if you feel the first artist has done a good job then let them finish their work, if you are not happy then try a new artist.
Hard to say as from the picture it is a nice tattoo you have had done.

Hi Romeo
Personal taste really I am sure an artist can sketch up both versions and see which one will look best. They woudl both work well on the edges.
Post up when done.
