I hear what you are saying sadly some places do look down on tattoos that show when you are wearing full business wear.

Oh of course they do. It just takes a consistent effort to break molds..I think we are doing a good job so far!!

Hey all! I am Rush, and somewhat new to the art of ink, i have two tattoos. One is on my forearm, on the underside, and the other is just two days old, on my upper right arm(bicep/tricep area) and up on my delts.

Heres my question. Much like my forearm tattoo, i noticed that when it was healing, i saw the scab on the outline, but the ink had ever slightly was wider than the scab, or the original line. Its happen to both of my tattoos.

At first i thought i had over lotioned my forearm, but i have been following what my artist told me to do, but its still doing the same thing.

They also wanted me to saran wrap it for the first two days, but whenever i put the saran wrap on, i immediately started sweating, and the shop said not to sweat, so i just left it off.

Is it normal for the healed ink to be slightly wider than the original line? Am i making myself clear? hahaha!

I plan on getting half my back done soon, and am wondering what i am doing wrong, or if it was normal.

thanks!

NEVER seran wrap for 2 days!!! Maybe the first 2 hours, but that’s it. I never wear taped on paper towel or seran wrap when i leave a shop. I walk out with just a thin layer of Aquatat over it. Aquatat is made by a company called H2Ocean and its the only pharmaceutical and FDA Approved ointment out there that was MADE for healing tattoos!

I have a piece going between my chest and stomach on my sternum, and words across my chest and another going from my shoulder, over the clavicle, and up a little on my neck. I started dozing with the one in the middle, and the words..ha i don’t even remember them hurting, and the neck was a little tender. Then again, I am thin and muscular and I thought it would hurt more. Make sure to eat before you start and have a sugary drink to sip on so your body doesn’t get too stressed.

Hello,
I have been diagnosed with Hep C recently.
I‘m only into week 2 of 24 for treatments.
When I’m done with my treatments I’m hoping to get a new Tat.
Will Tattoo artist be willing to work on me?

Thanx

You NEED to tell them. You are putting other peoples lives in possible jeopardy and you know you would want someone to tell you that information..I hope. It is a legal obligation and respect to others. Most shops will not tattoo you because a small slip could cost them their health in an already dangerous environment.

I love when people stare. I like to think of it as: 1) Fright from mothers that their child will turn into me ( a highly educated person that is an artist, a writer, has a 4.0 GPA and has never paid for school, a great friend, devote partner, traveler, entrepreneur, and a person that has NEVER has any difficulty finding a high paying job fully covered..they would be so lucky to have that child). 2) The older generation thinking I just got out of jail. 3) In a band! The last one is kind of a joke, but it happens we all know it. I loved working at the hospital and as a weight loss consultant because all of my patients were mostly in the older end of the spectrum. To be the kindest person they have met, to help them more than many regular people do really changes them and then they tell their husbands and friends and more and more people change their views of us. We are winning the battle and we will all be running the world soon!

Having tattoos makes me want to work harder in school and at work. And I am thankful for all of the modifications I have, they have made me into the strong person I am today!

I worked 3 summers at Hollister, which is really THE SAME THING, and all 3 managers had tattoos and piercings. Every one has tattoos these days and to not embrace that market will make them fail as the future unfolds. I have worked everywhere from hospitals to weight loss centers with tattoos all over me and I will NEVER work for a company that discriminates on the people that they make their money from!

I have a lot of text on me. To me words can have more meaning than a piece of are. Text in itself is an art form..typography. If it is beautiful to you then that is what you should get. Its the beauty of the feeling you receive from it that means the most.:)

make sure you have a sugary drink like mountain dew or even some M&M’s. Sometimes peoples bodies get stressed and put out such symptoms. men are more likely to pass out than any woman and a lot of the time eating before will help with this.
