I haven’t used A & D ointment since I discovered it has cod liver oil in it. I use the dry wrap method, wash frequently with anti bacterial soap, then apply a thin layer of fragrence free moistureizer like Aveena, or Cetaphil. It will take a few weeks to heel. First off you need to find an artist that specializes in coverups. They will be able to design a piece that will work.

A tattoo artist is an artist. Utilize their creativity, you will get a tattoo to be proud of.

A tattoo goes through stages of healing. Peeling, itching, etc. It will take many weeks to be fully healed. After three weeks you are usually safe to swim and souch. A semi glossy sheen will remain for a while until the process is complete.
