Its the ink. Welcome to the forum and I’ll look into shopsin your area and see if I can find any. I know some folx who know some folx. Maybe I can help if there isn’t anyone else.
As for the color change, that usually happens when inferior ink is used and thinned down. My personal preferance for black ink is Kuro Sumi, and if your artist will…[Read more]

Is the Gen 6 your shader or liner or both? Why don’t you jump on over to the pro section so we can discuss machines? I’m in the market for a shader and I’m considering some options.
Killer work.

Twenty years ago the title “Tamp Stamp” didn’t even exist…at least not where I was at. Women got tattoos in the small of their back because done well, they are sexy and accentuate their natural beauty. Since that is the idea, women began wearing clothes that shows tha tattoo, which naturally draws attention to their natural beauty…which in…[Read more]

Hello Tegan, and welcome. I’m glad you are researchingtattooing with the idea of the future. My advise to you is the same I give to all younger enthusiasts. Research the art, make friends and contacts, get help on design, and find what you are really trying to express. Understand that tattooing is a forever choice, so don’t make mistakes. Be…[Read more]

I wouldn’t even try to fix it. Cover it. You’ll regret it if you try to fix it. In my opinion, it is unfixable. It needs to be covered, and that is where you should be thinking.

Wait at least a couple of more years. I’m with Turbo. You might not like hearing this, and I’m not trying to be harsh. There are enough tattooists out there with no morals that they won’t even ask questions, they’ll just put whatever you bring on you, even if it is not worth tattooing because for them, its all about the money.
But at 14 you…[Read more]

Nellie, Welcome to our forum. I’ve only been here a week or so myself, but I’ve tried several tattooing forums and I like these people here. I hope you do too.
I’ve got a suggestion for you. I want you to consider this. In the tattooing industry there are some very talented artists. With greater talent, of course, comes greater cost per…[Read more]

Awesome! See…they MEAN something to her! For that reason I’d be glad to tattoo them, because there is meaning behind it. I don’t care much for the mindless tattooing because it looks cool. About half the people who come in my shop haven’t got the faintest idea what they want tattooed on them, they just want a tattoo, and they’ll look through…[Read more]

Seriously, as a tattoo artist, I have done hundreds of stars, star outlines, colored stars nautical stars, shadowed stars, zebra striped filled stars, stars within stars, stars trailing stardust, stars surrounding flowers, and so on and so on. I always want to ask why. Why Stars? Why not circles, or squares, or other geometric shapes? Why…[Read more]
