I don’t see a problem with mixed styles. They can still compliment each other, or form a contrast if you prefer.

I think it looks good too. I also understand what you want to do as I was the same with mine. I just went with a smoke effect…

Could you post up a picture of how it looks now?

Have you thought about using smoke or clouds as a background or filler?

Do you have a link to the picture? Sometimes the person’s body position can alter the perspective…
