I use A&amp;D ointment, the heavier orange tinted stuff and have had nothing but good luck with it.</p>

He and I are both heavily into doing triathlons, hence the idea of a bicycle chainring.  The only advice would be to have a reputable artist do it, since you want the nice clean circular lines and I&#8217;ve heard these are the hardest to do.</p>

You might look into laser removal.  Black ink is the easiest to break up and disolve.  Laser isn&#8217;t cheap, but you&#8217;ve actually got minimal ink, so it might be the least expensive option.
