I have not seen many back pieces that I like. I like this one a lot.

What is its meaning to you?

I think Warner Bros. Should just pay and be done with it. I don’t really see a problem. If the guy who actually has the tattoo on his face is in the movie and doesn’t have a problem with it being used on another actor for the purpose of the movie, then whats the problem?

I don’t think the tattooist should really have a case but nontheless he has it copyrighted and I think it will be easier and quicker for the studio to just pay him.

Where im from most people have them, pretty much everybody in my family has one though my mum gives me grief when i talk of getting a new one, really think its about time she gave up that argument.

In my town its just as common to have one than not these days and i just work in a crumby warehouse so its never guna be something that clashes with the type of work i do.

I really like how things have changed (or seem to have changed). I like that a tattoo does not mean that you are in a gang or that you are a violent scary person.

I have always wanted a tattoo. I have no idea why or even where I saw tattoos and learnt what they were. The only thing I can guess would be using those rub on pretend tattoos when I was little.

My family are 100% against them. This is what my Mum said about my first tattoo ”if it was on paper, then yes I would like it” which is better than my Dad telling me that I would have to hide it whenever I went to see my sisters (2yrs and 5yrs old)

I would love for my family to be just a bit accepting of it. I worry that I will be dis-owned when I get more tattoos :/

I have one full sleeve, one half sleeve, most of one lower leg, one side of my ribs, and a small tattoo in the center of my back. My family is pretty into them with the exception of my grandparents. My city has probably too many tattoo shops and a decent percentage of the population is tattooed. I’ve never had negative comments directed towards me (to my face at least). I am currently working as a home remodeler while I complete my apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist so my tattoos are almost a uniform now. I’m 32 years old and I got my first tattoo at 20 years old.

Full sleeve- Japanese snake, hannya, and peonies. The snake is for the old life that I shed and for new beginnings like a snake shedding it’s skin. The snake also represents intelligence, charm, and creativity.

Half sleeve- salt water fish and corals. I am a salt water fish enthusiast.

Gerber daisies in both ditches- the first flowers I ever gave my girlfriend

Lower leg- tribal dragon (I know… It’s done poorly as well). Bio-organic gooey dripping eyeball, anvil with the words black metal above and below (a tattoo I share with my closest friends.

Blue star in center of my back- my mom has a crescent moon and star for mother and child, I got the star as I am her child.

Ribs- graffiti drawing of Buffalo city hall. My city, I love this place.

I love what your snake tattoo represents. I have been wanting to plan/design a snake tattoo with very similar meaning. I am unsure how to make it so it does not look like a mans tattoo. I am not sure how to describe it since I dont want it ‘girly’. I am also unsure where the best place would be for me to get it tattood.
I havn’t thought about putting it as a part of my sleeve, but maybe that is an option. What do you think?

The moon and star tattoo idea is brilliant. I have been looking for a tattoo that represents mother and child. Yours is my favourite so far. But alas, I hate copying people haha.

I have been asking a few of my friends where they think is good.

I am not sure yet but will look more into it when I have almost saved up enough money for my back piece.

For my first one I didnt. I went to someone in my town. They have closed now so I cant go there anymore.
Next one will probably be from Melbourne.

The tattoo is approx 12cm by 8cm (not measuring just approx)

If I was to travel I probably would go to England first. I prefer colder climates. Not a fan of humidity lol

I have very rough ideas for my sleeve. I’m deciding between whether I should put my favourite band logos (but im really not sure about that one since it could change) or whether I should place the rest of my childrens names there (but I dont know if I will have more kids). Realistically I will probably start slow and gradually add to it with tats that have real meaning to me. so yeah, really not sure about what to get for the sleeve yet.

I have wanted to get the Ankh (egyption symbol of life) tattood on me for a while. But not sure where to put it. I had considered behind my ear… But not sure.

I have a text tattoo.

It is simple and I don’t think of it as a masterpiece of art.

I adore tattoos and love seeing the more detailed works that others have.

When I get a non text tattoo I will be extremely careful where I go because I will want a very skilled tattooist who can complete very detailed tattoos.

My text tattoo isn’t the most interesting or best tattoo but it is meaningful to me.

I like small text, paragraph text, tiny outline tattoos (eg. A star), huge back pieces, sleaves etc.

I will be getting tattoos that are meaningful but also others that don’t have much meaning.

I have no problem with people getting any types of tattoos since it is their choice.
Who are we to judge?
