I visit the US every other year or so Sam, but since the Oz/NZ trip is a 4-8 grand thing, I don’t think I’ll be visiting the states for a few years now 😀

IMO you really shouldn’t soak the tattoo in filth for at least a couple of weeks, or as long as it takes for the outermost layer of skin to grow over the wound.

Agreed! In general I dislike light skins and prefer the dark ones.

Whatever you choose to cover this up with will obviously need to be dark enough to cover it up, and big enough to make sense. It will also need to be done by a proper tattoo artist.
