what type of tat are you going for?

Welcome. I have been to malaysia and found some very friendly people.

I am interested to know if this is the best way to do it?
Would you give a designer ideas and let him come up with the goods?
I am unsure if its better to have a design already or leave it up to the professionals to come up with a design???

just a personal opinion but I like the roman numerals idea a lot, its something very personal and great homage. I am not as keen on the zodiac signs. Sounded good in theory but just dont like the designs as much.
End of the day its up to you what you want though. COOL IDEA!

I think kids names is good and its something important to you. I already said I like tattoos that are important to the individual. My mate got his first tat on sat a phoenix its symbolising a change in his life, he lost loads of weight. So its great and symbolic. Your kids are never gonna leave and always be dear to you so I like their names as tattoos.

I think it depends on your profession, I work in an office where I wear a suit so it would be a big no no.
I have seen some sexy neck tattoos but they are covered up with a shirt, I think covered up tattoos are just way sexier than very obvious ones. I just feel they are more special if they are a bit less visual and obvious.

For me I would only get tattoos that have meaning.
He is getting it for attentions sake and wants to show it off as much as possible.
