As you can tell by my arms which were tattooed first I wasn&#8217;t always into the traditional Japanese style but Mario Barth&#8217;s movie &#8220;Under the Skin&#8221; really had a huge impact on how I viewed not only Japanese tattooing but tattooing in general and tattoo etiquette. If you&#8217;ve never seen it I highly suggest seeking out a copy of it.</p>

Personally I use Palmer&#8217;s concentrated cocoa butter while healing and once I start cleaning it while showering I use Aveeno skin relief body wash with oatmeal whule in the shower. Using a nasty old bar of regular soap that&#8217;s been sitting in the shower for weeks isn&#8217;t gonna do any good for keeping bacteria off it. It was done with Intenze ink so maybe white done with a very cheap ink would fade more but I&#8217;d consider other options to get the look it sounds like you want.</p>
