When I had my train “layout” I loved working on track. All my track was hand laid with real wooden ties, spikes, and all the proper attachments.

I had a grandfather that was known as “Pappy”. He was about 5’6″ weighed maybe 140 pounds. He worked in a steel mill and a cement block factory. Could he have kicked my ass? Any time he wanted.
