I would say your partially right. No sunblock until its completely healed. Which isn’t always only a month. I compare keeping tattoos covered from the sunlight like keeping milk in the fridge. Its going bad either way. But it lasts a lot longer in the fridge. Different strokes for different folks. Some people are anal…[Read more]

I can give photographic evidence of what happens when a new tattoo gets sun. I’ve seen it with my own eyes on my own body. I was on a boat for a few hours about three days after I got tattooed. Mild redness over the entire tattoo (which was under a white shirt) tattoo faded. Not incredibly, but enough for me to keep my…[Read more]
Well, i dont agree. Like people who are living on hawaii or something, and are older. They look beautiful.
And i have searched the internet for like before and after with pictures of a tattoo that has been faded. But i could not find much. Anyways. They will all fade in time anyways. Maybe exept pale vampires who stay out of the sun…[Read more]
I like the sun too and as I said, I am outdoors all the time, but I’m wise enough not to go out baking in it except on rare occasions.

I try to get 20-30 mins of sun per day (except in winter). I just cover my tattoos with sunblock or a shirt. As long as you’re not out in the midday sun for hours on end its fine.
Alright. Thats good.
But the thing is i cant hide it with a t-shirt. I have too wear a sweatshirt or what you call it. Thick and long sleeve.…[Read more]
Yeah I live 2.5 hours from the beach so I rarely get down there. Besides, too much tanning can add 10-20 years to your skin, not to mention skin cancer. I’d like to keep my youthful good looks into my later years. 😉
Alright;) Thats fine with me. I like the sun thou. And it gives you vitamin D. Soo ts not too bad.
Sunblock won’t protect you 100%, but it most certainly helps. The bottom line is that if your ink is exposed to the sun often, it’s going to fade a lot faster than it would otherwise. It’s not just a matter of the ink fading though. Sun exposure also causes the ink to breakdown and get released into your body, the…[Read more]

I use lotion once a day even on my old tattoos. Of course you dont have to, but it helps to keep the skin to be healthy and “shiny” and that in turn may help the tattoo look better.
Everyone is different so of course u should do what is best for u, but i am pretty much an aftercare snob. I alaways cover up when im out…[Read more]
Actually i would wait a couple more weeks to put sunscreen on. Your skin is still healing. But if u must, do it but try not to do it often.
Alright. Thnx. How about the lotion i use for healing a tattoo? I used to wash it in the morning, then apply lotion. Then again before bed.

That shiny wrinkled look is perfectly normal for a healing tattoo. Most tattoos take a month and longer to completely heal. Sorry for my vague response earlier.
