My hip/side was done today. It was terrible. I was in moderate-severe pain. I used deep-breathing, visualization, counting, everything in my non-med bag of tricks. Little relief. But it was worth it.

Your body is the most precious asset you own. It’s not like buying a pair of jeans, a car, or new carpet. You have it forever. Sometimes you have to know when it’s worth spending the money. I own a 20 year old 19″ TV. I can afford better, but I prefer the money. On my body, I’m worth every penny, and so are you.

Is wanting a man who can pay his own bills, hold a conversation, and be a civil human being so demanding? I’m American, but still, surely we have a few west of the pond like that. 😉
