Why do you have a tattoo of fallopian tubes above your belly button?

The “M” birds just popped into my mind.

It is unique and colorful.

Love it Sam!

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, I know, but I wanted it there just for me, the place where my babies lived for 9 months (couldn’t have it on my tummy as it’s RUINED by all 3 of them) it’s their little story on my body… I am super sentimental about my kids, I have had their baby grows made into teddy bears, their scan photos printed onto hanging hearts with their names, dates and times of birth and this is just an extension of all the memories we make together. I could never regret it but it’s a big piece so having it in a place where I can cover it, just for me to see (and my fellow ink buddies) is the perfect place.

Hahaaaa!! I fucking love it anyway. I have a space saved above it for when the baby is old enough to draw and she’s gonna do the sky/birds/butterflies/sunshine for me. Truthfully, nothing could put my man off that view of me 😉

I think she said it all, not much I can add really 🙂

What happened to the last 2 posts on here? I gave you links to all 3 artists, they have disappeared?

This is his apprentice who has done my drawing (not sure if I can post due to copyright?)

Well, you have a few things to consider here. Has the apprentice or mentor ever done anything similar?
A LOT has changed in 40 years. What was impossible to imagine 40 years ago, is common today. The tattoo industry changes, machines have changed, ink has changed, techniques have been improved, hell, needles have changed!
You can do tiny tiny work with one needle. It is possible, and I’ve seen it myself. You do however, need a very good artist. I’d never leave it in the hands of an apprentice, unless it’s something they specialize in and have done, successfully, several times before.

Ask to see HEALED pics of work they have done with similar amounts of detail.

I know wonderful artists who have worked for 20-30 years, and they are great at what they do, but however, they haven’t kept up. They might never be able to do what certain apprentices learn early on today.

It’s probably completely possible, the question is if the artist you have chosen, can do it 🙂

Thank you for your response! The guy who started 40yrs ago is still working today, is it worth me naming? The piece I’ve had drawn up has tiny silhouettes amongst other things, of Peter Pan characters flying through the sky, the smallest of which may not be more than 1.5cm wide, I’ve been told will just be a blob in years to come.. it’s very worrying x

isn’t it a credit to a mentor if his apprentice becomes better than him ,he taught her well. I think I heard of Soul master is he a cover up specialist and a good one at that?

She was already that good before he took her on. Yeah soulless monster, he’s the cover up king.

She is better then him now and will be way better in the future. I wouldn’t get tattooed by either.
Apprentices are better then their mentors all the time with the new level of talent coming into the tattoo world since it’s not taboo anymore.

😉 depends what you want, right? I don’t like ‘paintings’ on my body, or traditional, I like their style. Both of them.

Both are good! Just think the apprentice shouldn’t be that good yet haha 😉 she has loads of potential. He is my artist and I always go to him but I am very tempted to try her out some time!

I agree BUT I need to add to this list :p

5) Wings on your back
6) Moustache on your finger
7) This Too Shall Pass script
8) Giant star outline on inside forearm
8) Your name in chinese (unless you’re chinese)
9) Your name in hebrew (unless you’re hebrew)
10) Your kids names in giant old english writing down your forearm (cos nobody can read it and it looks shit)

I wanna put 11) ANY day of the dead tattoos here, but for some reason everybody wants one (clone wars)

Jaysus!!! All those people are dumb ass thick shit cunts who can’t spell, or research shit, or know any better. They probably don’t even have internet. Or maybe even a proper home. They have no education, no past, no future, no self respect. Sad but true.
