there is no pic I can see,but I can say whatever it is,blowout or not,don’t stress because what’s done is done now.

“Day 6, the oozing stopped after day 3, it was looking great. Starting to form crust like, and getting ready to peel. Now this morning after shower, which I don’t get it wet, it’s bleeding in areas that are very cracked like. Also bleeding in the areas that got stuck to the sheets when it was oozing. It’s on the forarm, which I know is a tender spot….but day 6. This can’t be normal? I’m afraid to put lotion on it while it’s bleeding so letting it just air dry.”

just a side note,you should have been washing it 2 or 3 times a day since it was done in warm water with the palm of your hand with a OTC anti-microbial soap,no swimming/submerging,but you certainly need to wash it,that will help get rid if the loose dry skin and scabs if any.

first,why can’t we just be able to edit posts anytime ?  why does that option have to go away after 5 minutes ?  sometimes I want to add something or correct a stupid spelling mistake the next day or what ever.

if there is fluid under it then FOR SURE take it off and wash it with an anti-microbial soap with the palm of your hand 3 or 4 times a day,I use a dermal film on some of my tattoos but not until the first 24 hours after getting the tattoo just for that fluid seeping reason.either re-apply it after letting it seep all out or don’t put on the dermal film and  just keep it clean and put on a VERY light coat of something like palmer’s cocoa butter or aveeno fragrance free lotion.

I have not used any of the other dermal films,but I use Saniderm with great success using my method.

yes,all tattoos hurt where ever they are applied IMO,the pain level will vary from person to person and also depending on the artist’s style with the machine,will vary with age as well.everyone says the side/ribcage is brutal,I have a large side piece and I don’t think it really hurt much more than any of my other tattoos.Pain level is also up to the person getting tattooed,pain can be controlled and minimized mentally and physically.
