I just don’t get it….why put yourself through that???
hahaha…also a hip-hop fan…great song…nice tattoo ๐
i use Hemp Stick…its great all natural, lots of good stuff in it…its got no petroleum or parafin wax like bepanthen does which can draw ink from the skin, bepanthen also clogs up pores really bad…i used bepanthen for years only got hemp stick with my last 2 tatts and i can see a noticeble difference..its good shit! i buy it online for 10 dollars, just google it!
also if you ever have a tatt that seems to be taking a while to heal, use some pure vitamin e oil, from chemists or health shops…vitamin e is a natural healing agent, the oil is a little sticky, but really good!…also doubles up as skin care for my boa constrictor.. lol ๐
I’ve personally been getting tattooed since i’m 15, i’m now 22 and all my ink is still ink that i love, but in saying that being a girl i haven’t grown much since the age of 15 so my ink didn’t shrink or stretch, being a 16 or 17 yr old guy, you got a good bit of growing still to do, a friend of mine got a dragon on his leg when he was 16 and now its ridiculous looking because he’s 24 now and much bigger than he used to be…
finding a reputable artist when your underage can be tough…also money at a young age can be a problem too, i’ve seen lots of kids settling for less detailed designs just so they could afford to get tattooed.
i don’t think its fair to say a 16 yr old couldn’t decide on a tattoo that he will be able to appreciate and love for the rest of his life, that all depends on the 16yr old…it’d just be the physical side of it i’d be concerened about, it’d suck to get a killer piece and have it look shit in 10 yrs time
Each to their own i say! ๐
definately agree with matthew there, when it comes to tribal, you have to get it fitted to your body, to make sure all the lines and curves are exactly where they should be in relation to your shape, otherwise your gonna have a poor looking piece..
as for the picture, i’m pretty certain thats not real, it looks photoshopped on…its cool looking, for your first tattoo its a huge project so maybe break it up and do it piece at a time….and be warned tattooing your rib cage is one of the most painfull things i’ve experienced, not to put you off, just to let you now, its a strange sensation but as they say no pain no gain! my rib cage took 8 hours of pain, worth it though! ๐
keep us posted!
When it comes to tattooing money shouldn’t stop you…if its something you really want done…then wait and save all your spare cash and have it done, nobody likes saving but if its a nice big interesting piece your after it’l be worth it…and as for wanting to know whats out there the easy answer is, if you can think it up the chances are somebody can tattoo it!!…i’d recommend finding yourself a reputable artist, going into he or she with your ideas and let them piece something together for you…you don’t have to go into the studio with your mind made up, its the artists job to help you come up with something brilliant…and yeah like Outlaw says, if its a memorial piece don’t rush it, you’l regret it otherwise
Don’t give up on your search you’l find something, even if it takes a while ๐
hope it works out for ya bud ๐
Lovin the retro-ness of this…its awesome, well coloured…generally just well done…a full sleeve will be sik, i’ve never wanted one myself but i think they look great
Thanks for the welcome Matthew ๐
hmmm i don’t really have a specific artist, i like to get tattooed as i travel, got a few from various places around the world!…my guy at home in dublin is great, his name is Maurisz he’s from SnakeBite tattoo, they do good work
I’m dying to get cracking on my ‘tough/ love’ themed piece, its defo gonna look a bit 50s pin up esque!…i’l post a pic soon

Thats brilliant…i love cartoony tatts, especially kinda twisted ones, the look on the mad scientists face is quality ๐ Looking forward to seein the finished piece…nice work!
Thanks guys ๐
Bold lines are great, the next tatt i have planned, has a tough love theme to it, hearts, flowers, guns & brass knuckles, thats gonna have to have some shading and i’m gonna be using colour for the first time, but i’m hoping my artist will be able to maintain a few bold lines in the design….i’l put up a pic of the design soon, get a few opinions!
Thanks ๐
Haha yeah i love stars…after the first few stars i figured i may as well keep the theme goin! ๐
Thanks ๐
If ya like it, have it done, thats what i say! my boyfriends name is the only meaningful one i have….definately more about the art!
