sounds like you wanting to do a back piece ? to be honest it sounds a strange idea
but sometimes these make really cool tattoo’s when done by a good artist .
i think your best going into a studio and asking them to draw you something up :rolleyes:

i love the design and agree with outlaw 100% it looks like a top of the arm/sleeve design.
In fact i wouldnt post the design around many forums if you want it to be unique to you because someone might pinch it :rolleyes:

i like the 1st one of all the images Matthew has posted , thats how i would imagine a griffins to look .

i had my back tattoo done about 6 years ago now and its not faded much at all.

slapping it never works for me either . If the itch gets really bad i tend to give it a little wash and add some new cream on :rolleyes:

from what i can see the head is not brilliant , looks a bit small to me .
really you just want to use the image as an idea and let your artist draw up griffin tattoo for you !
it will fit you better then and flow with your body . I personally feel that if you get that done it will just look

The wrist is a small area to have a tattoo like that , you could have it but it will have to be quite basic and could end up not looking like a speaker !!
will prob just look like a blob in a few years done the line .

i would suggest having the tattoo some place else and have it done real nice with detail so it will look like a real speaker ..

unless he/she pushed the ink in real deep and you have a thick scan it shouldn’t make too much of a difference . sorry but most home tattoo’s are a mess anyways !

i have some white over my cover up but its only small highlights and my old tattoo im covering is really faded to a light blue and not black like yours is .
I never ever known an artist cover up a dark tattoo with lots of white

without having loads of laser sessions i really dont think its possible . sorry !
i think the best you can do with it is go along to a decent tattooist and let them design something to go over it , it will be a case of them choosing for you.

we have some tattooist here on the forum that might have some ideas .

it can be covered , but its going to have to be dark and you might even still be able to see it .

i had a 3 hour session a week after having my outline done . but im waiting 2 weeks between each sessions with colouring .

i think you would have to have the UV as highlights to yellow or green and not a solid colour

hi welcome to the forum ,

unless you are going to become a tattoo collector you would be best sticking with one artist to do your sleeve idea and then just getting a different tattoo from all the hot spots 😎

well, im in the uk so im not sure if this is fact or fiction :rolleyes:
but dont all fire stations there have a “coat of arms” type of thing for each station ??

i thought i seen a guy on miami ink get a tattoo like that once and it worked really well and looked like a vert classic tattoo that will not date fast .

Sounds like thats the problem then, walking around lot could have made you sweat a bit too even if you didnt feel like you had. will prob settle down within 3 days ( if you dont scratch it )
