Looks like I am already starting to shed, is that normal for a tattoo that is only 5 days old?
I applied some oinment earlier, making sure to avoid rubbing the skin and found a half-inch piece of skin with black outlining on my finger afterwards. YIKES!
Looking at the tatt using two mirrors I can’t find anything missing though so I hope it’s OK.

Many thanks to you and your wife, Matthew! I just wanted to make sure I don’t unintentionally offend people more than just by HAVING a tattoo. Seen too many tattoos in other languages gone wrong that way (apart from the more obvious translating mistakes and spelling errors).
For sh*ts and giggles I sent that through the Google translator and lo…[Read more] -

Hi there from one Art Nouveau/Art Deco fan to another.
First of all here’s a good overview of some Art Deco fonts with their respective names (I think most of those are free):

If you’re an Architect you are familiar with the respective elemets you could use, it all depends on how big you want the tattoo to be and where.
Whose name are you…[Read more]

Job done!
We ended up sizing the piece down to fit my midget-ish back better. It now takes up the space between my shoulder blades, just below the nape of my neck. That means we were done in 2 hours, no second appointment needed.
The first hour was a breeze (“Is that all you got?!”), the next 30 minutes no longer quite as easy peasy and the last…[Read more] -

Tomorrow is the day!
Done:
– Mole removal. Two stitches and a huge plaster to keep such a small cut in check!
– Cooked pasta for tomorrow.
– Got scentless soap, moisturiser and a sponge. I’ll macguyver up a handle with some wire to make applying oinment/moisturiser easier.
– Bought a bra extender so I can wear my bras “low back” style. I guess…[Read more] -

Two days to go… and on top of all that my appointment to yank a mole from my shoulder that has been pulling a Transformer recently has been scheduled for TOMORROW. I’ll be one mightly grumpy midget by Thursday 8 PM!
At least I had enough brain matter left to take Friday off and I am also not scheduled for the weekend… yay?

First of all, here’s the original for those who don’t know it. I think it’s a brilliant quote:
Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt thou the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt, I love.What I noticed about the translation you found there – it is Hitze! Dunno why the sources online keep omitting that.

Scary stuff indeed. I don’t like clowns either, as a kid I found them incredibly NOT funny.
That said, I cannot recall a single instance when a clown plaiyed a significant role in my dreams, not even after watching “IT”. - Load More
