Hey all , my partner in crime has decided that he wants a tattoo done for me 😮
and i get to pick what he should get .

as you all know im mad about butterflies but i think its a bit girly for him so i was thinking one of those
    moth girl tattoo’s .
you know the old fashioned ones where it has a girls head and then moth/butterfly wings.
but i can not find many online to show my bf what i mean.

does anyone know if they have a name ? i just searched mothgirl and a few others but its only coming up with a couple.

so i just need a point in the right direction 😎

    peace

No idea, I have seen them before though.

I can see where your concerns for a butterfly being “too girly” come from but I would have suggested a moth instead as well. There are some pretty cool ones!

We used to have buggers like the ones below where I lived, unfortunately I have no idea what they are called:

yeah cheers, the top two are the type im looking for but i dont know if they is a name for this style of tattoo .
I also noticed that sometimes you see gypsy heads with butterfly wings behind them which would also be cool .

been looking through old tattoo mags last night to see if i could find them, found a japanese looking one which is quite cool.
