Hi
To verify my post was to do with the stuff that they inject into the skin.
It is betetr than a rub on cream – which is why many can be removed (unlike the rub on creams these just lighten)
That said there are still risks of scarring and bleaching.

Hi
First of all it is not that bad.
I have seen way worse than this.
The good news is that it can be easily fixed;First of all the the line work needs redoing so that it is bolder and will fix a few wobbles.
Add some extra shading to the creases in the leg and arms and they will look a lot better.
The hands can be easily redone or maybe have…[Read more]

Hi
I have seen it used (I am not an artist) and no I wouldn’t push for it to be used by people unless they are really sure that they want to run the risks of this stuff.
All tattoo removal runs the risk of scarring – we all know this.
These creams not only run the risk of scarring but also leave the skin looking bleached so that it runs a risk…[Read more]

replied to the topic Dragon/Skull…need ideas for add ons in the forum Inked Skin 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi
You could always go for a wind or water demon in Japanese mythology rising up your arm to do battle with the dragon.
That would give a lot of scope for a air and water effect with maybe some lotus flowers, carp and such in the background riding the waves of the demon’s wake.
Pretty much endless what you can do with it.

Hi
You need to bathe the area and pat dry very carefully.
The excess ink should wash away but don’t scrub at it.Take Care

replied to the topic peg leg in the forum Tattoo Ideas 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi
To get the depth and detail that you want would take hours and hours to get as there would be really delicate detailing that would be needed to give the whole leg the wood effect.
As suggested why not get a peg leg tattooed over your leg front and back as symbolic piece – which will be easier and cheaper to achieve.

Hi
The ink would take marginally better but again the skin is soft and often sloughs off as constant use and rubbing – would need a yearly re-ink.
My advice is find a better position or the back of the hand which as slightly less wear and tear.

replied to the topic could you sleep through this ??? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi Xander
She was lying through her teeth – her dad freaked out and she just came up with the I slept through it – he drugged me etc.
No way in hell can you sleep though that.
I am just surprised that she would walk in and say I want 56 of them rather than say 2-3.
The world is an odd place.

replied to the topic Would an Eagle's Claw on the shoulder and trapezius muslce look good? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi
I have seen a few similar tattoos and if well executed they look great.
Things to consider are also the surrounding skin;Do you want a bloody claw mark or tears where the claw is gripping?
Do you want any shadowing off the claw onto the skin?
Also need to keep proportionality correct so that the claws are of realistic sizing to one…[Read more]

Hi Squale
I had my nipple pierced when I was 16 the pain going in was pretty bad but bearable – about the same as an ear lobe maybe a bit more.
The pain afterwards was the bit I found hard – it aches like a bastard and swells up.
Your shirt rubbing on it as well is no joke.Overall though it is pretty much tolerable.
Things to watch for though…[Read more]

Hi Knives
What the post is relation to is anything that is going to cause friction against the tattoo (can tear the scab) or tearing muscle.
If you do normal weights ease off on the affected area for a week to give it time to heal. The issue of warping depends on whether you are going to use steroids (or already are). That is the sort of bulk…[Read more]

replied to the topic burning city sleeve in the forum Design Requests – Find An Artist 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi Yankee
Easiest way is to either google the image or get a number of burning building pics and get a pro artist to draw it up.
I say this because the artist will need to shape and measure the design to your arm or leg so that it does not look out of place.
Also burning cities are very difficult to draw as the proportions + flames need a lot…[Read more]

replied to the topic Text on hand palm and finger in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 16 years, 9 months ago
Hi
The tattooing of the palm with something that size is basically going to be an endless battle of re-inking practically every year to 2 years to keep it in the skin.
You also run the risk of a major blow out due to the softness of the skin.
Whilst is it is possible it will not be as anywhere near as good as you picture in your mind – sadly…[Read more]

Hi
It does look like it might be blow out but what is surprising me is how far the ink has travelled – it does not usually have that amount of spread.
Is there any chance of a closer pic?
Have you had any unusual bruising in the skin or nausea etc?
