I split open my tattoo (bumped something while moving things around) that was just touched up last Monday. Has anyone had this happen? Did it heal ok?

My artist said to keep it clean and let it heal normally and see if it needs to be touched up again. I washed all the blood immediately with antibacterial liquid soap. It really pissed me off this happened. 😡

No issue. It’ll just lead to an infection so bad that they’ll probably need to amputate that body part.

I did the same thing while moving in my dorm at the beginning of the year. I let it heal like normal and the only problem was there were some serious holes in the ink. Just went back to the shop the next time I was home and got it touched up. Can’t even tell it happened now 🙂
