I’m not too into text tattoos but I have to say this is pretty freaking cool.

I agree, forearm would be perfect. It would be cool on the ribs except to read it properly it should be written left to right and I’m not sure you would capitalize on the coolness of it on the ribs. You need to put it in a place that you can flip over to show how cool the idea is. Also, the ribs are prime real estate for a bigger piece, it would suck to limit your future art for something that would work better elsewhere.

ambigrams are great for tattoo’s, i would have suggested the inner arm being the best location as people can be shown when it is flipped…. if you had it on your back then you would have to do a handstand to show it off ;

do a google search on anbigram generators, there are a couple of websites that you can place whatever words you want and it will create them for you, they have galleries with all the usual stuff like, “friends-family” “life-death” “love-hate” there are lots of people getting tattoo’s like this done as they are getting more and more popular
