I’m curious, from all of your experiences, where is the most sensitive part of the body to get inked?

For me it was my chest which surprised me as I have one nigh on in my arm pit and that wasn’t too bad.

I may change my mind when I finally book my rib piece though. 😀 I’m not exactly the chubbiest of blokes.

lol… I only have four tats, 3 on my arms and a big piece on my ribs, it was my first tat, took 5 hours, about halfway through i remember thinking “fuuuuuuuuuck, it’s not even worth this bullshit”

my wrists and forearm were a fucking breeze compared to that lol

Everyone is different, like i have one going all the way from the top to the bottom of my spine, one covering my whole rib cage, and a half sleeve… The worst part was the lowest part of my spine where all of the nerves meet up.. The easiest had to be my ribs, i started nodding off half way through it.

Definitely. Tattoos wouldn’t have as much meaning if there wasn’t pain associated with them!

I like the feeling though, gives me a rush… hurts.. then feels good :confused:

Most of mine were pretty easy to deal with but with my sleeve I’d say the elbow and top of the shoulder were pretty bad. The crease on the other side of my elbow hurt like hell. I wish I didn’t have more work to do there.

I know exactly what you mean dude. The crease was bad, not as bad as the top of the shoulder though. The armpit isn’t going to feel good.

im currently working on a full sleeve with chest plate and a full back piece, top of shoulders to mid ass and ribs to ribs. For me the spiciest areas have been (in most to least).

1. around ribs
2. inner butt crack area
3. elbow
4. towards midline on chest plate.

Ive heard that where your ass meets your leg is really sensitive. This is a great thread, im curious what others have experienced.

I agree 100%! Those are the worst areas for me, damn that elbow just sucks, all bone! My artist always reminds me when hes about to tattoo the inner arm elbow area as he thinks its one of the worst areas on the arm.

My wifes rib piece was pretty much a breeze. I tell her that alot people on here complain about the pain, she loves it so much her otherside is getting done this summer.

I only have two. One on my upper back and one on my right side (starting at the bottom of my boob down to a little before the middle of my butt). The one on my back didn’t hurt at all. And the one on my side had a few spots that I cringed during, but overall it wasn’t too bad…and I don’t have much meat on my bones.

Every tattoo I have ever had hurt like hell. If my wrist was a 9.7 out of 10 my back was a 9.9 out of 10. Really, it’s going to fucking hurt where ever you get your tattoo so figure out where you want it and just do it there.

i have a large piece on the side of my hips and the areas on top and inside of my hip bone hurt like hell. the butt hurt really bad too. some parts of the side of the thigh felt like a breeze, but when he hit those sensitive spots – christ!
