I don’t know if this is already a thread or not, but I thought it would be an interesting topic anyway.
My favourite would have to be Raging Bull, or Amadeus.
Amadeus really opened my musical horizons while Raging Bull is a pure classic, Robert De Niro is one of favourite actors.
The sort of jealous personality he plays in it is something I can relate to sometimes.

This is a really hard question for me. But I think the only movie I can watch a million times and not get sick of is Muppet Treasure Island 😀
Honarable mentions to Kill Bill, The Princess Bride, and Rat Race.

Going out on a limb with a comedy here… Grandma’s Boy. I love that movie. Its the only movie ive watched more than twice in one day and enjoyed it each time. Ive watched it no joke at least 35-40 times and still laugh at each scene and love it. Its amazing.

Non-Comedy, Gladiator tied with Invincible.

Some interesting movies you all have posted thus far…
For me…
It’s another three-way tie.

V for Vendetta
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Illusionist

If you haven’t watched ALL three…they really are very very good.

One of the most difficult questions for me, because there are so many awesome movies.

A few of them, from various categories, ‘the best’ for various reasons:

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, Coming To America, Lean On Me, Stand By Me, Air America, Ghost, Memphis Belle, The Hunt For Red October, My Girl, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves, Dances With Wolves, Aladdin, Lion King, Forrest Gump, Mrs. Doubtfire, Braveheart, La Vita é Bella, Fifth Element, Patch Adams, Jakob The Liar, Saving Private Ryan, Dead Poets Society, Toy Story, Lion King, Good Morning Vietnam, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Castaway, The Terminal, The Jungle Book, Independence Day, Lion, Taxi, Mindhunters, Ong Bak, Road To Perdition and Old Boy
