I had the tops of my feet tattoed and didn’t have to go back to work for 4 days. But as I work in a factory I have to wear steal toed boots. So after wearing socks (wear them inside out if you have to wear them) for one 12 hour shift, it took most of the color out of my tattoo. I had to have them redone 2 mos later. I agree with the first posters to not get it done unless you can wear flip flops for a couple of days to let it heal as much as possible. Good luck.
