Um, you’re worried about a shooting star on your chest and your name on here is “little debby”? LMAO Dude, get the damn thing and screw every other person on earth. Although I have to agree with Sherav…maybe making the star and its trail more jagged may help…and the coloring will as well.
And my old artist had stars tattooed as…[Read more]

Start by searching for an artist that will:
A) listen to you
B) take time to discuss what you want and what you don’t
c) has extensive experienceDEFINATELY DO NOT GO TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO HURRY THROUGH THE PROCESS. THEY CAN TAKE A BULLET TRAIN STRAIGHT TO HELL. Ink lasts forever and if the person who is supposed to be a professional makes…[Read more]

*checks her panties* nopers, no wad there…and I know that you’re just giving me shit…I just wanted to explain myself a little bit because the post does seem to read like a commercial. I just know that a lot of newbies to tattoos go exactly on what the artist tells them as far as aftercare goes…which it’s good to listen to a professional,…[Read more]

 Yeah…you pegged me off the bat. I’m from Arizona…and I got the tube of this tuff from my mom late last year from while she ws traveling. I just think that when one of us finds something else that works is should be shared…not everyone’s skin is the same…som can do lotion (i can’t) some need something heavy like a&d…and some…[Read more]

Once again I revert to advice found elsewhere on this site. Show your current ink to a professional artist and let them know what you’d like (the half-sleeve). Let them know if there’s something specific you’d like to incorporate…or a theme you’d like to stick with and then see what their ideas are…I’ve seen some abosuely sick sleeves that…[Read more]

And, this goes without saying, no matter how much it itches, do NOT scratch it. Just rub the lotion on gently. Just the motion of the hand with the soothing lotion should take care of the itch (temporarily).Love. Peace. Metallica.
This also goes without saying, but for GOD’S SAKE don’t pick at it either. Don’t try to…[Read more]

replied to the topic Tipping for larger tattoos…? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 17 years, 1 month ago
Tipping, in any profession, is a matter of your own personal judgement. And the whole percentage thing is out of date as well. Here’s how I look at it: If I go to a restaurant and the waitress is all nicey-nicey but doesn’t refill my beverage or makes me wait for ketchufor my burger and fries…well then she’s not getting much if any. I look at…[Read more]

Then I would talk to an artist that you like that has cover knowledge and see what he/she says…but that’s just me. I’m not really a fan of tribal at all…so maybe that’s a part of it. Especially when you want them both incorporated into one tattoo…they could simply trace your arm and work the design over it. This way they know what colors…[Read more]

If you still like the image (a jester I presume) then you could just get it reworked…cleaned up and colored…could be a pretty sick tatto reworked (and honestly looks better than some other home tattoos I’ve seen).

No, I’m just really excited about it and I want to see if anyone else in the world of tattoos has ever heard of it…that’s all. Far as I know it’s privately held anyhow…but a prharmacist in Lousiana.

That’s another idea Knighthawk…but I’m not sure I want this to be a big intricate tattoo. I like the simplicity of kanji and the “pkain old black” lettering. I know that LOTS of people have kanji tattos…and this may not be the end all idea either. I night try to get it in another font…I just don’t want plain english text. A friend…[Read more]

My suggestion is to find an artist that is well versed in covers and ask their opinion of what can be done. I helps to have an idea of what kinda of design you want for your “new” tattoo. I have a cover and so does my fiancee and they were both drawn customly for each of us and the individual tattoo. I have to agree that most inks should cover…[Read more]
