If you still like the image (a jester I presume) then you could just get it reworked…cleaned up and colored…could be a pretty sick tatto reworked (and honestly looks better than some other home tattoos I’ve seen).

My suggestion is to find an artist that is well versed in covers and ask their opinion of what can be done. I helps to have an idea of what kinda of design you want for your “new” tattoo.
