Hmm, not sure that type of lamp is what I meant, but it ould look cool under the right context.

I would say that the tattoo world is probably fairly male dominated, yeah. I haven’t come across any female artists in real life but I know of several. I actually played a video game when I had my last piece done and it worked wonders. My tattooist doesn’t really talk much other than letting me know what’s going on if I can’t see, so I just sat and played my 3ds the whole time and it worked wonders. The sugary food idea is a good one, I’ve never tried it but I will do from now on.

Don’t know how to compare really, as I don’t have the most experience, but my owl piece, which is about 7-8 inches tall by about 3-4 wide and full colour took at most 4 hours over 2 sessions. Apparently the image uploader built into the forum engine doesn’t like deivantart either, that’s not helpful.

Yes, I’m pretty sure I won’t regret it. I’ve been gaming a long time and what the piece is going to be a metaphor for is always gonna be with me, so it’s really just referencing the video game as a visual representation
