Either way; if you are (as you seem) confident that your pain tolerance is high enough to withstand a tattoo&#8230;I&#8217;m sure it very much is.<br />
Tattoos are not ALL that bad pain-wise.<br />

That being said, I haven&#8217;t personally tried it as an after-care method.</p>
<p>If she isn&#8217;t prone to break-outs and doesn&#8217;t have a negative reaction to it; I&#8217;d say go for it.</p>

And bring the pictures to your artist.<br />

Some wash the tattoo four times a day and lotion immediately afterwords.<br />
Some simply &#8220;dry heal&#8221; and shower the usual amount.</p>
<p>What I personally do is shower twice a day&#8230;unless I&#8217;m excessively sweating at any point&#8230;I&#8217;ll knock it up to three. <p>I&#8217;ve no idea on how viable this area is for longevity&#8230;<br />
But from what I&#8217;ve heard:  distortion of a tattoo is only really bad when the stretching/shrinking of the skin is fairly rapid.<br />
I&#8217;m sure touch-ups could re-work it if you do indeed gain some pudge.</p>

Not the best healing method.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d switch to Curel original unscented lotion.<br />
Or Eucarin unscented.<br />

The increased blood-flow to the area can cause excessive bruising.<br />
Just be careful&#8230;your tattoo is tender skin!</p>
<p>You&#8217;re ink will be fine.<br />
Just make sure that you don&#8217;t pick or scratch it during the healing period.</p>
