Well Its definitely time to get back into the chair. Im having a hard time getting my thoughts and ideas onto my arm ! I know I want some swallows, a skull and some more roses incorporated. Im just not sure how to tie it all in ? Maybe a skull sitting in a bed of roses with the swallows sitting on top of the skull ? Also id like to fill in more of the existing tattoo, make it look more full if you know what i mean ? ANy help or input is greatly appreciated !
haha in no way does the german eagle have anything to do with nazism or white supremacy. Thats like saying a tattoo of a cheeseburger has to limit itself to you fat americans. In no way am I racist and having the german eagle incorporated into my war memorial for my grandpa is not going to signify that I am. Adler pretty much sums up that the eagle coat of arms was around long before the nazi’s used it.
Lets keep this thread on topic so it doesnt get closed please. So far im gathering to leave the wording out and just use imagery ?

Thanks im very happy with it. Yes as far as I know its the only one like it. I wish I could copyright the idea so no one else could do it ha ha. Its a lot different then my original idea but came out soo much better.
Mine resemble peoples action or words how they can sometimes be sharp and hurt but not to let the affect me. hence the quote “no thorn will pierce my armor”.
Got the outline touched up and the black shading done. Also one more rose on top. Next session ill get a couple more different style leaves below the roses and the green for the leaves and red for the roses.

Thanks for the compliments, i get lots out in public too. Im not to hung up on what to call it, its a tattoo how bout that ? Im booked to get it finished next days off work. Cant wait to get back in the chair.
Sometimes I let stuff get to me to easy that would make me angry, basically its just a reminder to keep tough skin. Let stuff go. The thorns being peoples actions or comments and the armor being me/my personality and the way I feel about things. Pretty much not to let other people affect me or what I do.
Yeah thats why I was hesitant to call it a half sleeve cause theres nothing under there yet. Theres going to be a swallow sitting on one of those jagged stems under there. Thanks for the compliment.
