That is a lovely tattoo.

As some folks on here know, I’m a pediatric nurse. I think this would be a great example to show grieving parents special ways if they ask how others have grieved losses in non-traditional ways. This is beautifully done and a lovely way never to forget.

That is awesome and thank you for what you do some of the nurses during his surgery were so helpful and nice that they have become part of the family. That would be great! I know it can be harder to deal with actual loss through things like this but it was my personal way of honoring him and that was he grows up he knows he is loved and we are all by his side good or bad.

It’s really tough when a little one has to face such trama. Our son had serious issues when only weeks old.
He is now 25 years old and could kick my ass anytime. (but he’d better not try)
Your nephew may be all the stronger overcoming these adversities and it appears he is well on the way.

Keep us posted.

Yeah it is tough but he is a lot stronger than most kids his age and just fights against it all and if you saw him you would never think anything was wrong with him it is amazing.

A lot of tattooed people hear the, “Oh, you’ll regret that when you’re ____.” I have to say, I fall into the category of no regrets so far, but like you, I always had well considered reasons for WHY I got the tattoo. Even my first one, which is so dinky and now isn’t as lovely as the second two, I still love.

Yeah I think that’s the biggest arguement against tattoos but honestly anything that you like or has relevance isn’t something that I personally would regret even if one day the tattoo does look like a blob I’ll always know what the blob used to be and that really is the only thing that matters to me.

While your tattoos are not something I personally would get, that is the reason they are your tattoos. I did want to ask what was the pain level of the music not on your ear as compared to other areas? I did not really find my tattoo on my chest to be very painful but I know some areas are much more painful than others so I am curious.

Well, goodness. Welcome. ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s pretty cool to be so young and sure of what you want on your body forever. And you write like a pretty intelligent person. How refreshing!

Thank you very much ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess I would just say I have a basic idea of how I see myself but I tend to just go with the flow but I know that if I get work done that will represent important events or people in my life then I will not have to worry about any regrets. Thank you again I try ๐Ÿ™‚
