I got my fourth tat on Saturday, its my sons name in black and some blue. It is healing very well, it has already scabbed and peeled, but about 2 days ago i noticed pimples around the tattoo, i didnt think anything of it, but now it just seems to get worse, its around my tattoo and started to spread under my arm and on my arm as well. I was using Vitamin e but i started using aveeno lotion today. They are red and a little itchy. im concerned that it might be a staph infection, or could it just be some type of reaction? I never had this issue with my other 3 so im a little worried.

In all likelyhood it’s an indication that your arm is about to fall off.

So get your ass to a doctor NOW and have him look at it.

I agree you should go to a doctor to get it checked out. I’ve had a staph infection before, it’s no problem if you get it taken care of early but it really sucks if you let it wait.

thanks, i went to the doctor, he said its either a bacterial or staph infection, i have medication for it so hopefully it will clear up
