So I’m getting a half sleeve for my 20th birthday, I wanted to get in all black with some red ink. I’ve been looking at some pictures of storms and some dead trees and I sent some pictures to my artist who is going to draw it up, but I need to find my god daughter’s name, Grace, in Japanese to incorporate into it, but I still want to find something else to put into it, I just don’t have any ideas of anything that would fit together. I want a storm kind of background with wind blowing and poinsettias in it somewhere, but like a dead tree coming up my arm with my god daughter’s name in Japanese in the sky.
Why in Japanese? Why not write it in your native language? Kanji, in my opinion, is the most over done bullshit tattoo that young folk want. If you or anyone you know can’t read it, what is the point? If its in Japanese you could just find a symbol that you think looks cool and tell people that it means “GRACE” noone will know.
