So i got a tattoo last friday and now my arm is stinging like hell, like sharp pains if i barely touch it. Should i be worried? Right now its just beginning to peal.

I think it’s normal. I got some work done on Friday as well and it still stings a little every once in a while.

its the salt on your fingers thats stinging it. your sweat has salt in it, and when that gets on the tattoo its like having a tiny amount of lemon juice put in a cut… it stings.

also, if you are using lotion on it, make sure it is unscented, because the alchohol in the scent will make it sting too.

alright so theres no worry of an infection? The sweat thing makes sense since ive been going running. Yes the lotion I am using is unscented.
