it’s been about 10 days since the second session on my 3/4 sleeve. it was only black and shaded areas. about a week later everything was normal, did the same aftercare i always do and the peeling was almost over. then this red spots like little red pimples with no white head started to grow all over the inked skin. it’s been like this for some days now. it itches a bit, not that crazy, just a bit uncomfortable.
this has never happened before, not with tattoos done by this or any other artist. is this a normal but more agressive skin reaction due to the larger area of skin and amount of ink? is it a rash, allergic reaction, an infection? just clogged pores? my artist is out of town and i need some advice before panicking into a (surely) not very tattoo friendly dermatologist.
the pictures are not very good because of the close up, but between this and the description i gave, i hope you can get it.

oh and the rash is only on shaded areas. spots with only black, non diluted ink, are ok. it’s only where the ink was diluted, so i guess the problem comes from the distilled water. has this happened to anyone else? is it a sign that the distiled water was contaminated or doesn’t it necessarily have to be so?
