I looked through the first page of “Inked Skin” and am feeling pretty intimidated ha 😮
Well here is what I have had done so far:
First one I got in 2007
Got the fleur de lis in 2008
Brotherhood tattoo at Scape Goat Tattoo in Portland in 2011
Man & Mushroom cloud in 2012
Most recent is the velociraptor & fossilized human. I got it done at Lowrider Tattoo in California.
Criticism is of course welcome. I imagine an explanation is probably needed to finish the picture on some of my pieces. I am very quiet about my tattoos; only my close friends know of them and only my almost-wife knows the meanings behind them.
Well in case anyone is interested I will give a quick overview of the meaning to them. I probably won’t be back on here until tonight or so.
First tattoo. Got it in 2007 by Adam Goldstein at AAA Tattoo II in Rogers, AR.
It is more of a reminder of a certain time of my life than it is just a band tattoo.
Fleur de Lis – Pain County Tattoo, Stillwater, OK
Second tattoo ever. Simple, but meaningful to me.
Brotherhood – @ ScapeGoat Tattoo, Portland, OR
My best friend served in the Marines searching for IEDs in Afganistan, hence the bomb.
Man & Mushroom Cloud – Yetti @ Brother’s Keeper Tattoo, Stillwater, OK
Shows a guy sitting against a mushroom cloud like it is a tree; turning his back to death and destruction and enjoying the life around him.
Velociraptor & Fossilized Human; done by Miguel Ochoa @ Lowrider Tattoos, Fountain Valley, CA
It means a lot to me, like the rest of my tattoos. It also kind of continues the scene with my Man & Mushroom Cloud tattoo with the relationship between turning your back to inevitable death to enjoy what life you have and appreciating life on this planet because it could easily be the other way around where dinosaurs are standing over our fossils.
Thanks for looking 😀
Oh and I’m definitely glad I found this site.
Welcome. I like the velociraptor! It is a little light and no outline so make sure u take care of it because it can easily fade and stretch out.
