Thanks Tom for giving me a few more Aussie artists! the only 1 I know from that list is Stevie, he’s on my shortlist for next tattoo.

Adam Kitamotos work is beautiful man, I like how he uses softer colours.

It doesnt matter if its b/g or color. Any fine detail tattoo will lose its detail over time. The only tattoos that stand the test of time is usually the ones with bold lines (ie. Traditional americana, traditional japanese, new school american, etc). But for me, i am more a fan of the fine detail tattoos and i really dont care how it will look when i am 70 or even 60.just try to take care of your tattoo as much as u can now, so it will still look decent later.

Maybe I could get some wildlife with very thick outlines 😀

How could I forget Rachi? Black Throne would have to be the most prestegious custom shop in Australia.

No worries Amok. If you want more names let me know!

Any in Sydney would be helpful. They all seem to be in QLD or VIC.

Geez… all of this work is leaving me a bit speechless. There’s some great talent coming from down there.

Off the top of my head in NSW here are some shops/artists.

Rock of Ages
Kaleidoscope
Ocean Ink
Sam Clark – currently travelling though
Hunter and Fox
Kian Forreal
Ash Gravino

Some of them are a distance to travel but that’s all part of the experience.

Adam Kitamoto’s work is amazing. Now only 284 days until my first appointment with him. Well worth a trip or 4 to Melbourne.
