Ashleigh from Sink or Swim Tattoo, Brisbane Australia.

I have a 4 hour shading session booked very soon.
The Dragon is going to be finished near my armpit and I am hoping will extend down and dissapear behind the geisha’s kimono.

Going for traditional japanese air/water fill, except I want cherry blossom petals to be flowing up in the traditional air, so it flows well with my arm. Thoughts on this?

Very happy with the piece so far, especially since it is my first!

Yeah, it will mostly be black/grey, but I want it to have red and maybe a few bright colours through it, on her Kimono, Fan etc.

Already have drawn a design for the traditional air with red/pink cherry blossom petals flowing through it.. Should look good!

Very impressive and a nice size, not bad for a first tattoo, most go for a postage stamp size for their first, you should be very impressed. That is going to look great when finished.

Haha thanks, yeah I have always wanted a big impression first tattoo.
Annoyed that everyone thinks Japanese is too popular now, I don’t care though, I’m in love with the style!
